This position is a 2027 Summer/Fall Engineering Co-op at Collins Aerospace for a student majoring in Electrical Engineering with interests in hardware design/support. This position provides the opportunity for you to broaden your background with a practical approach to engineering. The primary goal for you is to merge your theoretical knowledge gained in school with practical engineering applications. Our team is responsible for hardware design support and development of digital and analog circuitry for embedded systems utilizing Multicore Processors, memory devices, FPGAs, Networking Components, high speed interfaces and analog devices on Commercial Avionics and Business and Regional Avionics platforms. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in our growing team of engineers supporting and designing state-of-the‑art, industry‑leading multicore processing for Graphics Generation, Displays. Our team designs and supports the hardware for Network Switches, Display Processing Computers, Multi‑module Cabinet and Communication Management products. This position is intended to include design engineering and factory, field, and customer related support to achieve a healthy understanding of the product lifecycle.
This is an onsite position based out of our Cedar Rapids, IA site location. This position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and will run May/June- December.
