Job summary

PPL Electric Utilities is seeking a Full‑Time Engineering Co‑op in Pennsylvania with a hybrid on‑site schedule from January to August. You will work across various engineering groups (Assets, Design, Field, Operations) in Allentown and surrounding PA locations, gaining hands‑on experience and presenting results to PPL leaders at the end of the term.

Qualifications

Enrolled full-time in a curriculum leading to a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering.
Available in person 35–40 hr./week, during program dates.
Minimum GPA of 2.50.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for improvement and propose better methods.
Gather, correlate, and analyze data using established procedures.
Perform engineering assignments with calculations, tests and analysis.
Engage in routine tasks to learn company engineering methods and programs.
Support operating and maintenance functions with engineering analysis and troubleshooting.
Assist engineers on large projects as needed.
Help develop engineering goals, budgets, programs and procedures.
