Job summary

Bison is seeking engineering students for a real-world co-op experience in the Bison business unit. You will contribute to design, testing, and documentation of motors, blowers, pumps, motor drives, and related electronics.

You'll work both independently and in small teams, tailoring blocks to meet business needs and your interests, to gain career-building experience in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a relevant Engineering degree program at an accredited university.
• Sophomore or higher-level standing.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and cost reduction.
• Ability to communicate effectively using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with experienced engineers to design, test, document, and validate new components and products.
• Build, document, and validate the electro-mechanical performance of motors, gearmotors, blowers, drives, software, circuitry, and other products.
• Conduct tests, analyze data, and provide formal report-outs on findings and recommendations.
• Create and support the development of technical documentation.
