Job summary

CACI International Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking Electrical Engineer Co-op/Interns for Spring and/or Summer 2027 to support the hardware development of complex digital and RF communications equipment.

You will gain hands-on experience in design, development, and testing of electrical systems under supervision and mentorship. During the internship, you will collaborate with senior engineers, perform simulations, document results, and present findings.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering concepts.
Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design (DxDesigner, Altium).
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
Conduct research and analysis to support project goals.
Perform simulations and modeling of electrical circuits and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
Support the testing and validation of electrical prototypes.
Document design processes, test results, and project progress.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for review by senior engineers.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in electrical engineering.
