Job summary

CACI's Rochester team is seeking Electrical Engineer Co-op/Interns for Spring and Summer 2027 to support the hardware development of complex digital and RF communications equipment. You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, providing hands-on experience and mentorship in a collaborative environment with senior engineers.

The role requires pursuing a related degree, US work authorization, and strong fundamentals in electrical engineering, CAD tools

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Strong understanding of fundamental electrical engineering concepts.
Familiarity with CAD software for electrical design (DxDesigner, Altium).
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
Conduct research and analysis to support project goals.
Perform simulations and modeling of electrical circuits and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
Support the testing and validation of electrical prototypes.
Document design processes, test results, and project progress.
