Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to work full-time during the scheduled semester.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
  • Ability to return for multiple co-op rotations.
  • Previous work or project experience related to hardware and firmware.
  • Experience with C, C++, and Python.
  • Experience with circuit board design.
  • Sophomore or Junior class status.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tests using various types of lab equipment.
  • Build circuit board prototypes using through-hole and surface mount technologies.
  • Create schematics and PCB layout used to design embedded circuit boards on CAD.
  • Learn “C” programming of microcontrollers.
  • Design, build, and test complete circuit boards.
