KLH Engineers in Fort Thomas, KY seeks an Electrical Co-Op to join our engineering team. The student will contribute to design tasks under guidance of staff, handling drawings, calculations, and project support for ongoing production and design projects.

This short-term, hourly co-op typically involves 40 hours per week starting January 2027 and offers exposure to AutoCAD, Revit, and basic electrical engineering concepts within a values-driven culture.

Formación

• Student candidate must be attending technical college for an associate’s degree or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering; Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Any prior consulting engineering or construction field experience is desired.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit is desired.
• Basic computing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Support engineering and design needs for ongoing projects in design or in the field.
• Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD or Revit; develop sketches, layouts, and drawings.
• Perform basic electrical and lighting calculations.
• Collaborate on projects to meet deadlines and organize construction sets.
• Local delivery of drawings and maintaining accurate time records.
