  • Participate in the integration of sensors, drives, robotics, and automation technologies into new and existing manufacturing processes.

  • Assist with testing, troubleshooting, validation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems.

  • Help analyze equipment performance and support efforts to improve reliability, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

  • Gain hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.

  • Document project activities, test results, and engineering changes.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, components, and automation solutions.

  • Follow all company safety standards and engineering best practices.

  • Perform other engineering-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

  • Completed coursework in electrical circuits, controls, automation, robotics, or related engineering disciplines preferred.

  • Prior Internship experience is helpful

  • Basic understanding of industrial control systems, motor controls, sensors, and electrical design principles.

  • Familiarity with PLC programming, robotics, CAD software, and programming languages such as Python, C, or C++ is preferred; exposure to Allen-Bradley controls, FANUC robotics, AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar automation and electrical design platforms is a plus

  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced changing manufacturing environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
