Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Irving, Texas is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join our office in Irving. This is not a remote position, and graduates must have an ABET-accredited degree by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities include using technical software to analyze and QC deliverables, collaborating across disciplines, and developing familiarity with regulations and Kimley-Horn standards across diverse electrical projects such as MEP, lighting, power, renewables, EV charging, and ITS design.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to realize clients’ visions.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn standards.
• Work on a wide variety of electrical projects including MEP, lighting, power, renewables, EV charging, security, and IT.
• Assist with technical specification and electrical equipment cost research.
• Gain exposure to solar/energy projects with battery storage and PV; exposure to ITS design and related technologies.
