Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering graduates to join our Escondido, California office in 2027. This is not a remote position and the role supports our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on large-scale projects, focusing on electrical design plans, equipment selection, and power analyses.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver client visions for the built environment.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn’s and clients’ practices and standards.
• Support the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team on large-scale projects.
• Contribute to the development of reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, equipment selection, and power analyses.
