KUBTEC in Stratford, CT seeks an on-site Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test and commercialize advanced X-ray imaging systems. You will own projects from concept through prototype to production in collaboration with mechanical, software, manufacturing and quality teams.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, thrives on innovation and continuous improvement, and will contribute across design reviews, ECOs and lifecycle activities to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of electrical engineering experience in industry.
• Experience designing and developing electrical/electronic systems and taking designs to initial builds and testing.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the design, development and integration of electrical systems.
• Develop prototypes of electronic system hardware and software.
• Schematic capture and layout of PC boards.
• Design and development of analog circuits including power supplies, relays, digital circuits, LEDs and switches.
• Maintain drawings of wire harnesses and system level schematics.
• Embedded firmware design.
• Support verification and validation of hardware and embedded software.
• Transfer design to production and support manufacture.
• Support ECOs and product lifecycle activities.
• Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions related to system issues.
• Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure component quality.
• Partner with mechanical, software, quality, regulatory and manufacturing engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in technical design reviews and project planning activities.
• Help foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
