Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for water and wastewater projects in the Pacific Northwest. The role involves client-facing responsibilities, business development, and collaboration with I&C professionals to deliver resilient infrastructure.

The position supports a flexible hybrid schedule across Parametrix offices in WA, ID, OR, and beyond, with a focus on delivering high-impact projects and mentoring junior staff within the Water Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Professional Engineer (PE) license, and 10+ years of consulting experience.
• Industrial power experience including 480V power distribution, motor control (including VFDs), standby generators, NEC compliance, and lighting.
• Technical expertise in PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial control networks, wired/wireless telemetry, relay control logic, and process instrumentation.
• Experience serving municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design for municipal/industrial water and wastewater projects.
• Partner in business development and client management with direct engagement responsibilities.
• Foster a strong team environment within the electrical team and Water Division.
