Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cincinnati or Toledo, OH. You’ll work with multidisciplinary professionals on a wide range of projects, from planning through construction, delivering technical documentation and electrical system design.

The role requires a BSEE or equivalent, familiarity with NEC/IBC/Energy Codes, and PE licensure or progress toward it. Hybrid schedules are available with a strong focus on collaboration and quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent).
• Knowledge of the Architectural/Engineering consulting business.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or working towards licensure.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code, International Building Codes, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office, Easy Power arc flash analysis software, and lighting design software.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and construction documentation
• Design and support electrical and building systems
• Conduct site visits and gather field data
• Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders
• Provide construction administration and project support
• Review and prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
• Support projects from planning and design through construction
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
• Manage project tasks and deliverables
• Ensure quality and accuracy of engineering designs and documentation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent)

Knowledge of the A/E consulting business

Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities

Licensed PE or working toward licensure

Familiarity with NEC, IBC, Energy Codes

Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, MS Office, Easy Power arc flash and lighting design software
