Job summary

Fishbeck, an employee-owned engineering firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer to join our Ohio team (Cincinnati or Toledo). You will design electrical systems, create construction documents, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals on diverse projects.

Responsibilities include site visits, calculations, and coordination with clients from planning through construction, with emphasis on water and wastewater facilities. PE licensure pursued is encouraged, along with strong CAD/REVIT skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (BSEE or equivalent).
• Familiarity with the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
• Experience designing electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or working towards licensure.
• Familiarity with NEC, IBC, and Energy Codes.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Design Master Electrical, Microsoft Office, Easy Power arc flash analysis, and lighting design software.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and construction documentation.
• Design and support electrical and building systems.
• Conduct site visits and gather field data.
• Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders.
• Provide construction administration and project support.
• Review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Support projects from planning and design through construction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Manage project tasks and deliverables.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of engineering designs and documentation.
