Job summary
Tesla Laboratories is seeking a General Electrical Engineer to support DoD and IC programs with advanced vehicle electrical and software systems. You will oversee engineering design tasks, review ECPs and RFDs in Windchill, and ensure quality through CFAT, CFAT reports, and DVP&R.
Travel up to 25% is required to coordinate with production, testing, and field teams. The role calls for expertise in system engineering, vehicle design, and program management to manage technical risk and drive robust
Qualifications
- Knowledge of system engineering and vehicle design.
- Expertise in vehicle electrical and software systems.
- Experience with PPAP, CFAT, DFMEA, PFMEA, and DVP&R.
- Experience with Army/USMC tactical vehicles integration.
- Technical program management and risk/issue handling.
- Able to travel up to 25% for duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering design oversight for engineering tasks.
- Review/approve ECPs and RFDs in Government Windchill.
- Review/approve Technical Data Package submissions (drawings).
- Review/approve CFAT plans and reports.
- Review/approve assigned CDRLs and support production teams.
- Assist with test activities and issue resolution.
- Support vehicle fabrication, assembly, and testing.
