Job summary

Garg Consulting Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer in Rocky Hill, CT to support electrical design, quality control, and project execution for transportation and infrastructure programs. You will work on facility power, lighting, and system design across multi-million-dollar projects.

The role involves design through construction support, mentoring junior engineers, and opportunities for leadership within a growing firm focused on railroad and transit infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
• 5+ years of electrical design experience (5-8 years ideal).
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE & UL codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility power, lighting, and electrical system design.
• Prepare electrical scopes of work & cost proposals.
• Develop drawings, schematics, layouts & specifications.
• Perform system calculations, modeling & analysis.
• Support construction including review of submittals & RFIs.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and present technical solutions to clients & leadership.
