Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with GPA preference (as per job ad) or AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology with industry experience.
• Internship experience required for entry level candidates.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment and lab instruments (oscilloscopes, DMMs).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
• Constructive mindset for systematic debugging and root cause analysis of circuits and firmware.
• Proficient technical documentation skills.
• Excellent professional communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of electronic components and power supplies; vetting for various applications.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and regulatory compliance (UL, ETL, FCC, MIL) is a plus.
• US Citizenship required due to ITAR program restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate test fixtures for engineering development, qualification, and production of thermal control and energy conversion equipment and products.
• Collaborate with the product development team to design for testability, review requirements, develop qualification plans, and transition products to manufacturing.
• Design, lay out, assemble, and test PCBs for a wide array of applications and equipment.
• Develop and maintain data acquisition systems, automated test scripts, and GUIs using Python, LabVIEW, PLC, Visual Studio, and/or C/C++.
• Program microcontrollers to interface with various peripherals utilizing common communication protocols.
• Design and execute the mechanical integration and physical fabrication of custom test fixtures.
