Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and support medium-voltage switchgear solutions for customers in the Wendell, NC area. You will review drawings, create schematics, and lead engineering deliverables to ensure on-time project completion.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 1+ years of experience with MV switchgear, plus proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, ELCAD, or Engineering Base.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience designing or configuring electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience working with MV switchgear.
• Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ELCAD, Engineering Base, or similar tools.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred).
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, and NEMA standards.
• Experience with air-insulated or gas-insulated switchgear (GIS).
• Experience using CAD design tools and electrical drafting software.
