Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, controls, and related systems for bid and construction on diverse projects. The position is based onsite at our Cincinnati office in the Over-the-Rhine area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, be self-motivated, and participate in all project phases, collaborating with owners, architects, and contractors to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with MEP design.
• FE registration preferred with potential for PE.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors in written and verbal forms.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques to tasks.
• Confer with engineers and personnel to meet deadlines.
• Apply engineering principles to design and evaluate products, systems, and processes.
• Design and specify system components to meet project goals.
• Research and analyze design requirements, feasibility, costs, and maintenance.
• Review contractor submittals for conformance with documents.
