Doosan Bobcat NA US in Bismarck, ND invites students to join its Electrical Engineer Student Experience for Spring 2027. As a Co-op or Intern you will apply your electrical engineering coursework to real-world projects within a global company.

The program offers 8 months for Co-ops or 4 months for internships, spanning 18 functions with hands-on prototyping, QA, and mentoring from skilled professionals dedicated to your development.

Qualifications

• Freshman to Senior pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Commit to full-time for Co-op (8 months) or Internship (4 months).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and sustaining schematics and harnesses for systems using software tools.
• Assist in building prototype machines for new and sustaining systems.
• Participate in quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Perform Quality Analysis to improve systems and components.
• Develop troubleshooting skills using machine operation, schematics, and measurement tools.

Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part‑time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.

Co‑op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat’s different functions.

Role & Responsibility

Job Requirement

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3.0 or higher GPA preferred
• Be able to commit full‑time to Bobcat for the entire term of the co‑op (8 months) or internship (4-months)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience and other factors.
