Job summary

Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc. offers a Co-op and Internship program designed to empower engineering students. You will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects, joining cross-functional teams, and applying classroom learning to active product development.

Co-ops are eight months of full-time employment immersed in corporate and production environments, while internships are four months part-time with potential extensions. 18 functions are covered across the company.

Qualifications

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred
• Commitment to full-time for the entire term (8 months) for Co-op or 4 months for internship
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying parts and engineering drawings using Creo
• Update ECNs and Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Support prototype builds, testing, and maintenance of engineering equipment
• Analyze test results to improve product designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve design challenges and contribute to product development
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on product improvements

Co‑op: An 8-month long opportunity, Co‑op positions are a full‑time employment experience. Co‑ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as a full‑time team member.

Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part‑time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, Interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.

Co‑op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat's different functions.

Role & Responsibility

Job Requirement

• Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing seeking a degree in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

The salary range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience and other factors.
