Job summary

Hudson Manpower is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and optimization of electrical systems powering critical infrastructure in the oil and energy sector. You will drive automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage integration while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• Eight (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry.
• PE license preferred.
• Experience with high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks for pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
• Champions integration of automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Implements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and infrastructure.
• Provides technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for new construction and upgrades.
• Manages complex engineering projects from concept to completion within goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project execution.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet internal and external customer needs.
• Mentors junior engineers and promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

As an Electrical Engineer Senior, you’ll lead the design and optimization of electrical systems that power
essential infrastructure—pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. You’ll apply your technical
expertise to integrate advanced technologies like automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage,
driving efficiency and innovation across operations. A key part of your role is ensuring safety through the
implementation of arc flash mitigation, fault detection systems, and rigorous compliance with regulatory and

• Mentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth knowledge

• Understanding of power system design, analysis, and simulation (e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PSCAD,
  Simulink or similar tools)

• Knowledge of high-voltage equipment, transformers, generators, and switchgear

• Understanding of grid integration and renewable energy systems

• Experience in managing procurement processes for electrical equipment and materials, with
  established industry contacts for sourcing reliable vendors and suppliers

• Preferred: Experience in overseeing the (FAT) commissioning, testing, and startup of electrical
  equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with design specifications

Education/Years of Experience

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or
university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or
university in a relevant fieldwithProfessional Engineer (P.E.) license (Highly Preferred) and eight
(8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers or related industry.
