Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Electrical Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to support GMD Weapon System hardware engineering. You will develop and maintain electrical drawings for multiple ground systems, interfacing with facilities, and manage the PLM drawings lifecycle.

The role requires a Secret clearance and is based in a fast-paced team environment with diverse assignments. Travel up to 10% may be required; onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience (Level 2) or Master’s and 0–2 years; or Bachelor’s and 5 years (Level 3) or Master’s and 3 years; PhD with 1 year also acceptable.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance at start is required.
• Strong CAD and PLM experience with Teamcenter or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop design drawings and maintain Electrical drawings for Ground Systems hardware.
• Create and manage drawings in the PLM system and coordinate with facilities interfaces.
• Generate engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Engage in team meetings and demos; document progress on dashboards.
