Job summary

Persona AI Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to design space- and performance-constrained electronics for robotic systems. From idea to schematic, libraries, PCB layout, fabrication, and board bring-up, you’ll work fast, with strong fundamentals and a bias for actionable results.

You’ll partner with firmware and software, as well as mechanical engineers, EMS partners, and fab houses to deliver high-density electronics for demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience designing and shipping production electronics.
• Experience designing and bringing up highly integrated PCBAs and rigid-flex assemblies.
• Hands-on experience with chip-scale packaging (BGA, WLCSP) and HDI techniques.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools (KiCAD, Altium, Cadence Allegro).
• Strong fundamentals in mixed-signal design and high-speed digital signaling.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces and sensors.
• Lab fluency: scope and logic analyzer debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design and support hardware architecture of tightly integrated PCBAs and rigid-flex circuits.
• Optimize layout for power management, motors, sensors, and compute subsystems.
• Co-design with mechanical engineers for 3D routing and connector placement.
• Support mixed-signal subsystems including analog sensing and power delivery.
• Contribute to signal/power integrity, pre-layout analysis, EMI/EMC-aware layout.
• Bring up boards through debugging and data-driven iteration.
• Collaborate with EMS partners and fab on stackup and impedance control.
• Develop and refine schematic and layout conventions for fast-moving teams.
• Collaborate with firmware/software to ensure board enables control stack.
