Job summary

Zenovo in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Electronics/PCB Design Engineer to join our embedded hardware team on-site three days per week. You will design multi-layer PCBs for robotic and automation systems, develop schematics and layouts, and drive production-ready designs with support from software and mechanical teams.

Requirements include a Bachelors/Master's in EE, 4+ years of commercial electronics design, experience with mixed-signal circuitry, debugging with scopes and analyzers, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of commercial electronics design experience.
• Experience with mixed-signal, analogue and digital design.
• Strong debugging skills with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and lab equipment.
• Experience working with external PCB assembly partners and manufacturing.
• Robotics or autonomous systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-layer PCBs for embedded and robotic applications.

• Support board bring-up, validation, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Perform electrical testing, signal integrity analysis and environmental validation.

• Manage BOMs, component selection and manufacturing documentation.
• Investigate and resolve hardware issues from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-layer PCBs for embedded and robotic applications.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, prototypes and production-ready designs.
• Design mixed-signal, power management and high-speed digital circuitry.
• Support board bring-up, validation, debugging and performance optimisation.
• Carry out electrical testing, signal integrity analysis and environmental validation.Work closely with embedded software, mechanical and systems engineering teams.
• Manage BOMs, component selection and manufacturing documentation..
• Investigate and resolve hardware issues from prototype through to production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of commercial electronics design experience.
