Job summary

STÄUBLI is seeking an Electrical Engineer to shape next‑gen robotic tool changer systems. You will blend electrical design with hands‑on testing, validation, and automated test equipment development. Work with global R&D teams to bring new tech from concept to reliable, industrial‑grade reality.

You will design schematics, contribute to electrical architectures, and maintain documentation while ensuring safety standards are met. Strong collaboration and problem‑solving are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical design and automation preferred.
• Competency with EPLAN or similar eCAD tools.
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial communication protocols (Profinet, EtherCAT, IO-Link).
• Python experience for test automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for robotic tool changers.
• Develop electrical architectures and collaborate with global R&D teams.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEA.
• Define test plans covering functional, electrical, safety, and failure scenarios.
