Job summary

CX2 is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support advanced electronic systems for counter-UAS solutions. You will work on RF systems, embedded electronics, sensors, and power systems to detect and neutralize unmanned threats.

Responsibilities include schematics, PCB layouts, sensor integration, and collaboration with software/firmware teams for full system integration. Domestic field testing and weekend readiness may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of electronics design and development experience.
• Experience with RF systems, antennas, and signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electronic hardware for drone detection and mitigation systems.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes for embedded systems.
• Integrate sensors (radar, EO/IR, acoustic, RF) into defense platforms.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, and systems engineers for full system integration.
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in lab and field environments.
• Optimize power distribution and battery systems for portable and fixed defense platforms.
• Support EMI/EMC compliance and environmental testing (MIL-STD preferred).
• Analyze system performance and improve reliability and efficiency; participate in field deployments.
