Redtree Engineering seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support schematic design, detailed engineering, and field activities for power generation projects, including coal, natural gas, and data center power infrastructure. Multiple openings span mid to senior levels for a remote role across the United States.

The position emphasizes leading electrical scope, performing ETAP studies, coordinating with vendors, and delivering design packages from concept through commissioning in a 100%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for power generation facilities.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure is a huge plus.
• Experience with low-, medium-, and high-voltage distribution systems and protection systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical scope on assigned project areas and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and equipment layouts for power facilities.
• Design and specify HV/LV systems, switchgear, substations, transformers, P&C systems.
• Perform electrical studies (load flow, short-circuit, arc flash) using ETAP or equivalent.
• Coordinate with manufacturers to develop specs and resolve design issues.
• Provide field engineering support during construction, startup, and commissioning.
