Electrical Engineer – Prototype Design

Location: Memphis, TN

Must Have’s:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5–10 years of electrical/electronic design experience
Experience working with embedded hardware/software systems
Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic circuit design
Familiarity with regulatory codes and standards (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA)
Experience working with regulatory agencies

Strongly Preferred:

Background in the commercial appliance industry (restaurant/food equipment – dishwashers, dispensers)
Proficiency with CAD modeling – Autodesk Inventor preferred
Experience with technical documentation and design control processes

What You’ll Do:

Design and implement electrical solutions for new products and innovations to existing equipment
Lead embedded system development for commercial dishwashing and dispensing systems
Manage projects from concept through prototyping, testing, and implementation
Ensure all products meet regulatory compliance requirements (NSF, CSA, UL, etc.)
Provide technical support to engineering teams, sales representatives, and field technicians
Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure seamless operations for customers
Develop and maintain clear technical documentation for internal and external use

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
5–10 years of experience in electrical/electronic design and embedded systems
Proficiency in circuit design and debugging
Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
Experience creating and managing technical documentation
Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
