We have an opening available for an Electrical Engineer – Hardware, to join a leading OEM in the Pawcatuck, CT area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design industrial control systems: schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, BOMs
• Attend project and customer meetings
• Review designs to meet specs; coordinate with mechanical and controls teams
• Maintain project timelines and communicate status
• Collaborate across divisions to develop and refine standards
• Interact with customers; occasional travel
• Support ISO 9000 procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
  
  

Qualifications:

• AAS in Electrical Engineering required; BSEE preferred
• Experience in industrial control system design (UL508A, NFPA 79)
• Proficient in AutoCAD; AutoCAD Electrical preferred
• Familiar with AC drives (Yaskawa, Allen-Bradley) and PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and technical skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with Office 365 tools
