Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Permanent Electrical Engineer to join a well-established firm in delivering electrical equipment design, development, and testing for commercial and industrial projects. You will work with project managers, draft detailed schematics using AutoCAD and Bluebeam, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

The role demands a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills to present proposals and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree or PE license a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering (commercial/industrial).
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and AutoCAD.
• Experience with high voltage systems, utility plans, panel schedules, and lighting design.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems, meeting specs and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to design electrical systems for commercial/industrial projects.
• Use Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other design tools to create detailed designs and schematics.
• Develop and maintain utility plans, panel schedules, and lighting design.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of electrical systems and conduct safety inspections.
• Prepare technical reports and design proposals for stakeholders.
