Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
• Experience supporting production engineering activities preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the ability to make a quick assessment of a problem, identify additional information required, understand the resources available, compare the urgency of the issue to other failures/issues, and to take the understanding of these parts and create a path for troubleshoot and/or correction and final resolution. Then it is required to be able to communicate this plan to a cross functional team with diverse backgrounds. And lastly to continue to drive updates and status of this plan along the way. 2nd Shift

Key Deliverables

• Change documentation preparation and presentation
• Hardware troubleshooting
• Own and manage an issue project to completion

Success Criteria

Able to solve problems quickly and correctly, communicate effectively across multiple teams, take ownership to see a task to completion in a timely manner

Required Skill Sets

• Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems
• Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
• Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware
• Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices
• Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains
• Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight
