Responsibilities

• Plan details of assigned project, including methods and scope of work under the guidance of senior personnel.
• Coordinate design and development of projects with related activities to ensure compatibility with specifications.
• Prepare materials for effective, efficient training of machine operators
• Serve as liaison with equipment manufacturers for process and machinery improvements
• Establish and conduct tests, analyze results and prepare reports on methods and outcomes
• Prepare training manuals, operating procedures and instructions for manufacturing processes
• Ensure proper manufacturing procedures follow safety policies and quality standards
• Provide technical support to technicians and production personnel during issues or maintenance
• Troubleshoot machinery with a qualified technician as needed
• Create and manage project plans for continuous improvement initiatives
• Analyze manufacturing process capabilities to identify improvements
• May handle hazardous waste materials.
