Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support project leads and teams on day-to-day discipline coordination, scheduling, and deliverables for power generation and distribution systems on oil, gas, and petrochemical projects.

You will help prepare complex project deliverables, review vendor packages, and provide site support during commissioning and start-up, while maintaining strong cross-discipline communication and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree required or may be regionally specified.
• 3–5 years of detailed electrical engineering experience.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI; latest methods.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• PE or EIT registration preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support project lead and electrical engineers on discipline coordination and scheduling.
• Develop and review electrical deliverables: one-line diagrams, load lists, cables sizing, and BOMs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and manage change with awareness of project impact.
• Assist with requisition paperwork, vendor packages, FAT/SAT testing, and site support.
