Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design, analysis and studies for power systems on domestic and international projects.

Responsibilities include short-circuit studies, protection coordination, arc-flash analysis, power factor correction, harmonic modeling and grounding analysis. Occasional field work and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years relevant experience; prefer educational focus in Power Systems studies.
• Experience in short-circuit, protective device coordination, arc-flash and power quality studies PREFFERED.
• Must have experience using SKM, ETAP, ASPEN, EZPower, or other power system modeling software.
• Must have knowledge of low, medium and high-voltage up to 500 kV.
• Must be able to clearly communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable doing so directly to customers and co-workers.
• Field experience with substations or switchgear highly desirable.
• Utility design experience a plus.
• Availability for occasional domestic and international travel a plus.
