Job summary

Constellation is seeking an experienced engineer to support power plant operations, applying advanced technical analysis and serving as a subject matter expert. You will guide cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to both ongoing and outage-related projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering plus about 7 years of related experience, with strong knowledge of NERC standards, HV systems, and DCS/PLC environments. Safety and reliability are emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7 years of related experience.
Familiarity with NERC standards and electric power systems.
Field engineering experience at electrical power facilities.
Experience with electrical controls, protection devices, and HV work.

Responsibilities

Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop and implement engineering analyses and programs.
Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor engineers at asset level.
Direct short- and long-term engineering programs impacting site operations.
Ensure design criteria, practices, and codes are applied to plans and specs.
Conduct independent research supporting technical projects and programs.
Recommend new concepts to improve performance and reduce costs.
