Job summary

Gemma Power Systems, based on the Texas Gulf Coast, seeks an Electrical Engineer to support multi-million-dollar power generation facilities and industrial projects. You will assist with electrical/controls engineering, design, and construction work, coordinating with Procurement, Project Development, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure on-time, on-budget deliverables.

The role emphasizes compliance with NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, IEEE, OSHA; experience with power distribution, MCCs, and

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with solar or renewable projects is beneficial.
• PMP or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Strong experience in schedules, specs review, tech and financial analyses.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in the development of preliminary designs and technical proposals.
• Evaluate base designs and specifications, providing technical support through all phases of process improvement.
• Coordinate project schedules and engineering teams to execute work on site in a timely manner.
• Drive technical due diligence from project development to commissioning.
• Review engineered specifications and drawings.
• Ensure installation and operations adhere to Gemma standards and customer requirements.
