SST Direct is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of electrical systems for building projects in Austin, TX. You will work under senior engineers to develop layouts for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems, and to produce coordinated 2D drawings and 3D models.

Responsibilities include creating drawings, performing calculations, and supporting construction administration, with a focus on quality, budget, and schedule compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license required; NCEES record preferred.
• 4+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with building power, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
• CAD and 3D modeling software proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations across project phases.
• Assist with building electrical system design and coordination.
• Prepare drawings per codes and project standards.
• Perform electrical load calculations, feeder sizing, and panel schedules.
• Create and coordinate CAD drawings and 3D models.
• Support construction administration and RFIs.
• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Participate in meetings and maintain project documentation.
• Maintain organized electrical documentation and revisions.
• Apply electrical codes and industry practices; pursue professional development.
• Improve design quality and coordination processes.
