Job summary

Gemma Power Systems in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support power generation facilities and industrial projects, providing electrical power and control engineering support across procurement, development, construction, and commissioning teams.

The role focuses on safe, reliable electrical design that meets NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and OSHA standards, with involvement in proposal development, customer meetings, and on-site coordination with the EOR and project teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with solar or renewable projects is beneficial.
• PE or PMP license preferred.
• Strong experience in schedules, technical review of specs and designs, and risk analysis.
• Knowledge of control platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider).

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support in preliminary designs and technical proposals.
• Coordinate project schedules and engineering teams to site delivery.
• Review specifications and drawings for compliance with standards.
• Support EOR oversight and ensure safety and adherence to Gemma standards.
