Job summary

IES Infrastructure in Ohio seeks an electrical design engineer to focus on power distribution components such as circuit breakers, switchboards, transformers, and wiring. Responsibilities include red-lining schematics, sizing wires, reviewing cut sheets, and coordinating with purchasing and engineering to verify vendors' materials meet specifications.

You will evaluate and design electrical systems, develop manufacturing processes, support testing, and ensure NEC compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical systems to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to design testing methods and procedures to verify system performance.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design electrical systems by selecting products and materials to meet requirements.
• Prepare BOMs, review cut sheets, and size wires and components.
• Support testing, manufacturing processes, and field/service coordination.
