IES is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and test power distribution systems in Batavia, Ohio. You will evaluate components, size wiring and panels, and collaborate with purchasing and engineering to verify vendor material conformance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years’ experience with power distribution components (circuit breakers, switch boards, transformers, disconnects, distribution panels, AC/DC wiring).
• Personable and customer-service oriented.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, CAD or Electrical CAD experience.
• Reliable and detail oriented in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and design electrical systems, selecting products and components to meet requirements.
• Design testing methods and procedures to verify system capabilites and support customer testing.
• Develop solutions to support product sales by studying customer requirements and testing methods.
• Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components.
• Ensure product quality by designing testing methods and coordinating with quality/ISO.
