Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Combination of various training and experience in Maintenance/Supervision could be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, validate electrical designs and drawings covering power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation for all areas of operations
• Update system drawings and the site wide power distribution system model
• Perform equipment failure analysis and make appropriate recommendations
• Review proposed equipment replacement or upgrades including capital projects
• Provide cost estimates for engineering projects
• Work with other engineers and maintenance department to complete projects (Planning, Scheduling, Reliability)
• Support the operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Coordinate and manage various "key" projects with "shutdown/outages"
• Scheduling and coordinating with contractors for capital projects/major maintenance.
