Job summary

Meta is seeking a Hardware Electrical Engineer in Austin to design and validate electrical subsystems for cutting-edge hardware. You will create schematics, guide board layouts, and participate in design reviews, collaborating with mechanical, optical, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Candidates should have 2+ years in electrical design, hands-on lab experience, and familiarity with power management interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in electrical design or a relevant technical field.
• Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence Orcad or Altium.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and debugging hardware.
• Experience with design and troubleshooting of power management interfaces (PMBus, AVS, SVID and SVI2).
