Job summary

Burnham Holdings, Inc. in Peru, IN seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test and support electrical systems across company boilers and accessories. You will interface with engineering, shop staff and management to deliver robust electrical solutions.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI programming, sensor/actuator integration, and ensuring compliance with industry codes while providing onsite technical support as needed. A strong emphasis on teamwork and problem solving is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure and troubleshoot PLC logic and HMI screens.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, drives and industrial protocols.
• Work to meet industry codes and standards.
• Debug control logic and electrical hardware.
• Provide technical support to internal customers (Plant Supervisors, installers, Customer Service, Sales).
• Travel to job sites as required to provide onsite technical support; minimal travel.
