Burnham Holdings Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Peru, IN to design, develop, test and support electrical systems across Boilers and Boiler Accessories. You will collaborate with engineering, shop staff and management to ensure project success.

The role emphasizes PLC/HMI programming, sensor integration, and adherence to industry codes. Travel to customer sites is required occasionally, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Program, configure and troubleshoot PLC logic and HMI screens.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, drives and industrial protocols.
• Work to meet industry codes and standards.
• Debug control logic and electrical hardware.
• Provide technical support to internal customers such as Plant Supervisors, third party installers, Customer Service and our Sales team.
• Travel to job sites as required to provide onsite technical support to customers or installers. Minimal travel.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures with consistency and urgency.
• Communicates effectively at all levels and encourages open, two-way dialogue.

Electrical Engineer

Summary

This position is responsible for the design, development, testing and support of electrical systems across company products. This equipment includes but is not limited to: Boilers and Boiler Accessories. This position interfaces directly with other engineering personnel, shop staff, non-engineering department personnel and management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Program, configure and troubleshoot PLC logic and HMI screens.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, drives and industrial protocols.
• Work to meet industry codes and standards.
• Debug control logic and electrical hardware
• Order processing
• Provide technical support to internal customers such as Plant Supervisors, third party installers, Customer Service and our Sales team
• Travel to job sites as required to provide onsite technical support to customers or installers. Minimal travel
• Other duties as needed
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures with consistency and urgency
• Uses practical reasoning and data to make timely, informed decisions
• Applies root cause thinking to address recurring issues and improve processes
• Works constructively with other departments to align efforts
• Communicates effectively at all levels and encourages open, two-way dialogue
• Adjusts to changing conditions without losing focus on results

Education and Experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning production software and systems
• Able to read and interpret technical documents, such as technical drawings, schematics, safety rules, and quality procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
