Job summary

The HEICO Companies, LLC's Davis Wire division is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and maintain electrical and control systems for plant operations. You will support PLCs from Siemens, ABB, and others, collaborate with suppliers, and develop automation that improves safety, efficiency, and output.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and strong skills with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office, plus extensive knowledge of PLC systems and drives;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Intimate working knowledge of PLC systems and drives required.
• Experience with PLC-based automation, electrical design and system maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and service PLC systems used in plant operations (Siemens, ABB, etc.).
• Develop automation that improves safety, efficiency and output.
• Lead design reviews and prepare engineering specifications and BOMs.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams and document technical data.
