Job summary

Constellium Muscle Shoals is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for electrical infrastructure and manufacturing systems in a high-volume aluminum production environment. You will design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical and control systems to support safety, reliability, and productivity across the facility.

Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, supporting PLC/HDI logic, advancing preventive maintenance, and coordinating outages.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of engineering experience preferred.
Knowledge of materials related to facilities and equipment maintenance.
Experience with ladder logic and HMI software; AutoCAD 2013+.
Familiar with PLCs, motor control, HMIs, and power supply for LV/MV equipment; safety codes.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and locate equipment or system breakdowns.
Support troubleshooting and repairs of analog, digital, and process logic control systems.
Apply engineering principles to rolling, casting, slitting, and coating processes.
Design modifications to improve safety, quality, productivity, and costs.
Improve preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
Coordinate outages and construction project activities.
Assist in capital maintenance and investment projects.
Mentor subordinates and supervise supplier interventions.
