HDR, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Building Engineering Services Group in Bellevue, Washington.

You will design electrical systems for large institutional projects, collaborate with engineers and project teams, and help deliver safe, sustainable solutions that power the built environment. In this role you will coordinate design activities, review drawings, write specifications, and ensure code compliance while supporting project delivery from schematic design through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• Requires professional engineering license (PE).
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical design team on large institutional/industrial projects from schematic design to contract documents.
• Establish meetings with agencies for code compliance.
• Coordinate workload to meet project schedule.
• Conduct site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
• Review electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
• Write/edit electrical specifications and select equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines for addenda, RFIs, CPRs and changes.
• Provide construction contract administration as needed.
• Conduct QA/QC on the work of other Electrical Engineers/Coordinators/Technicians.
• Perform other duties as needed.
