Job summary

Parkhill is seeking an Electrical Professional Engineer to join our growing team. This full-time, exempt role supports a wide range of electrical building design projects for commercial spaces.

We expect leadership in design from concept through construction, with collaboration across disciplines. You will collaborate on proposals, manage planning, modeling, and permitting, and mentor staff on Revit, AutoCAD and electrical design requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Texas or Oklahoma.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKM.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices and trends.
• Ability to lead project design from start to finish within time and budget.
• Effective communicator across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.
• Manage planning, modeling, compliance, and permitting.
• Train/mentor staff on Revit, AutoCAD and related tools.
• Train/mentor on electrical building design requirements.
• Lead design teams in plans, specs, and bid/construction documents.
• Develop client and contractor relationships.
