Job summary

BW Design Group seeks an Electrical Engineer, PE who designs full electrical systems for large manufacturing facilities, including power, lighting, and fire alarm. You will mentor teammates and ensure designs meet NEC standards.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, collaborate closely with clients, use Easy Power, REVIT and AutoCAD, and travel as needed. The approximate pay range is $110,000–$150,000, with final compensation based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• PE licensure with ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
• Strong NEC knowledge and power distribution expertise.
• Willingness to travel for installations, meetings, and industry events.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer, PE who thrives not only in designing full electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm for large, complex manufacturing facility buildings but also values strong mentorship and leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Design: Work on electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and integrating power, lighting, and fire alarm systems seamlessly.

• Power Distribution: Design robust power distribution systems, skilled in both low and medium voltage applications, tailored to the specific needs of cutting-edge manufacturing plants.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ Years of Relevant Experience: Electrical engineering design experience, particularly in the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods sectors is ideal.
• NEC Proficiency: A solid understanding of the NEC, ensuring compliance in all designs.
• Power Distribution Expertise: Experience in low and medium voltage systems.
• Load Flow Analysis Experience: Demonstrated ability in optimizing electrical systems.
